Is there a best practise to change the slug of a taxonomy that is already in use?
The reason I ask is that I have a page in the root of the website with the same slug. That results in 404 errors of the child pages. I can't change the page slug, so I need to change the taxonomy slug. I don't want to change the term slugs.
The taxonomy does not require a public archive page. I'm not sure if that makes things easier?
