    Hello,

    I have followed the tutorials "How to Add Guest Author in WordPress using Meta Box (Part 1 & 2)". Everything worked fine for me. After that I have followed your video tutorial "Save WordPress Custom Fields in Custom Table". This also worked very well.

    Now Custom Field entries which are submitted by guest authors posts are stored in a custom table. But how to store the whole post type in a custom table, including post title and post content? I haven't found any solution for that in your documentation or in this forum yet.

    Hi Daniel, we haven't supported saving the whole posts object in custom table yet. That's on our plan and we'll try to finish it this year. We'll let you know when it's done.

    Anh,

    Jumping in on this if I may...

    Seriously interested in this as well. We've tried a few times to extend the capabilities of Custom Table to work with our own content types created using WP_List_Table but, although we've got close, we've never got this working well.

    It would be absolutely amazing to be able to use the endless benefits of Meta Box with the benefits of truly independent custom tables. Please, please do add this functionality as soon as you can. Numerous projects we have on (and upcoming) would all benefit.

    Hi,

    I am still awaiting this feature and cannot use MetaBox without it.

    On March 18 2020 Anh said it was planned for completion in 2020, and on April 28 2020 Long said it was on its way.

    However, over one year later there's still no update and MetaBox are not providing an insight on any progress.

    It is an essential feature for a professional CMS framework akin to Drupal.

    Please can Anh or Long provide a realistic schedule for at least the first public alpha or beta release.
