Hello I've created a simple Testionial type form
https://www.mouseclasstravel.com/submit-guest-review/ But the image upload does not work.
I've tried different types of image upload fields but they all give the same issue. (Giving the standard image could not upload error)
This all works when logged in with admin user, but not for the visitor.
Could someone please give some insight? Thanks!

    Hi,

Please try to deactivate all plugins except Meta Box, MB extensions and switch to the standard theme of WordPress (Twenty TwentyTwo) then re-check this issue.

    Thanks for your reply!
I did as you suggested and deactivated all the plugins except Metabox and changed to Twenty Twenty Two theme but still getting the same error/issue
You can try for yourself over here https://staging.simplydigitaldesign.co.za/mouseclasstravel/submit-guest-review/

    Hi,

The frontend submission extension requires the user to log in to submit a post so it's not possible to upload the image without logging in. You can log in with a test user (subscriber or editor role) to re-check this issue.

Logging in is not an option, this is for Review submissions so we do not want them to have to create users or login in any way.

Is there a different way of achieving this result? Maybe using Gravity forms or what about the Testimonial add on - do you need to log in for that as well?

    Hi,

Submitting a post without logging in is not the main aim of this extension. I will inform the development team to consider supporting an attribute for the shortcode to allow visitors to submit posts. For now, you can use another reviews plugin to collect reviews on your site.
