    Hi there,
I am very sorry but I am struggling with my WP website since days... all was working fine some weekes ago but recently we tested again a MetaBox Frontend Submission dashboard and form and it seems like it stopped working...

Subscribers (that had the capabilities to do it some weeks ago) could manage their CPTs through a MetaBox Frontend Submsission dashboard but now an error is showing up when submitting:
“Sorry, you are not allowed to edit this post.”

I am using MetaBox, Bricks Builder and MemberPress.

In the error logs we can't find any hints, enabling WP Debug mode the only error that shows is:
Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the meta-box-aio domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /var/www/vhosts/website.ext/mywebsite.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114

    Do you have any suggestion?
I can give you an access to my website if it is needed.

    Hello Francesco,

Does it work if you use only Meta Box plugins and a WordPress theme? And please edit the post in the admin area to check if the subscriber is the author of the post. Also, let me know which versions of Meta Box plugins are on your site.

    Following the documentation https://docs.metabox.io/extensions/mb-frontend-submission/

    Hi Peter,
    thanks for your help.

Yes, the Subscriber is the author of the post.

I am using MetaBox 5.10.5 and Meta Box AIO 1.31.1.

I've just tested it enabling only the two MetaBox plugins, MemberPress and WPCodeBox but it always show the “You are not allowed to edit this post.” notice.

    Hello,

What happens if you deactivate all other plugins including MemberPress and WPCodeBox? If it still doesn't work, please share your site admin account by submitting this contact form https://metabox.io/contact/
    I will take a look.

I have the same problem too… I tryed by completely de-activating all plugins… title work, and text, but custom taxonomy and other fields don't work.

    SOLVED, SOLUTION:
if you are using Bricks Builder go edit the page with the frontend form, choose the Submission Form element and be sure to select an Object Type for the Submission Form!
