How to create Custom post Type to populate across ALL subsites (including Metaboxes, relationships (settings, not the individual posts), custom fields, etc etc)?

    Hi,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Meta Box does not have a feature that supports creating a CPT and populate data across all subsites. This topic might help you to do that https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/101054/multisite-with-a-single-shared-custom-post-type-while-retaining-site-url

Thanks! I don't think that's exactly the solution I'm looking for - as that user wants //blog1/events/event1 to appear as //blog2/events/event1 when viewed from blog 2 - some content, different urls.

    I'm wanting:
Custom post Type: Portfolio created by Meta box
to be available as a Custom Post Type in all subsites
    but NOT copying the content.

So blog1.domain.com/showcase/post-created-in-blog-1 and blog2.domain.com/showcase/post-created-in-blog-2, and so on. Each site would have it's own posts. I'm just looking to populate the Custom post Type on ALL subsites with the metaboxes (not the content)

Hello? I'm not a developer and as far as I can tell, that solution you linked isn't what I'm talking about. Please respond to the issue at hand, as described in my response.

    Larry,

I am not a Metabox developer but a customer. I have been wanting something similar for so long. However, there are limited solutions for us multisite users. While it is not ideal, the best solution I have found is the broadcast plugin. It doesn't have direct metabox.io support, but it works generally for all custom post types I have created with Metabox thanks to their awesome code.

You can see the plugin here:
