    Hi,

    I’d like to check whether this is a bug or a configuration issue.

    Re-order works correctly for the Administrator role, but when an Editor tries to change the order, the changes are not saved.

    I need Editors to be able to re-order posts. Could you please advise how I can enable this?

    Hello,

    Sorry for the misunderstanding in my previous message – due to a translation issue in WordPress I named the wrong role.
    Re-order works fine for Administrators and Editors, but changes made by Authors are not saved.

    I need Authors to be able to re-order posts. Could you please advise how to enable this?

    Hello,

    The user needs to have the edit_pages or higher capability to save the sorting. Please read more about the capabilities in the WordPress documentation https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/roles-and-capabilities/

    If you want the Author users to be able to save the sorting, you can add the capability edit_pages to the user role. For example: using the plugin User Role Editor https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/
