    I just discovered the Features tab on Edit Posts Type and saw the "Re-Order Posts: Order posts of this post type using a drag and drop interface" function. I turned it on for my Services CPT, and I see that it adds a drag/drop handle to each post. However, I can't do anything with it. When I hover over the dots, I get the hand cursor, but when I click nothing happens. The hand doesn't close, and I can't move the post at all.

    Hello Travis,

    You can hover over the dots, drag and drop the post to re-order it. If it doesn't work on your site, please try to deactivate all plugins except Meta Box, MB extension plugins, switch to a WordPress theme and check the issue again.

    Let me know how it goes.

    Hi there, I am experiencing the same issue, disabled all plugins swapped to 2025 theme, but still no drag and drop. The mouse changes when you hover posts, but you are not able to grab them.

    Good to know! That doesn't work for me either...
    I suspected Admin Columns and so I installed a re-order plugin that made it work.

    Then I can uninstall it again soon when it gets fixed!

    Hello,

    I can reproduce the issue on my demo site. Currently, the re-order posts feature isn't working with the hierarchical CPT. If you want to use this feature, please disable the hierarchical option and check the issue again.

    Thanks.

    It does not work for me either. I have to disable hierarchial option, than it works.
    However I need hierarchial option, so thats a bummer.

    @Peter
    : Will this be fixed in a coming update? 🙂

    Thanks!
