    Using the following shortcode:
    [mb_user_profile_register id="meta-box-id" label_submit="Register" confirmation="Your account has been created successfully." role="editor"]

    After submission, the user's role remain as the default 'Subscriber'.

    Hi,

    I've checked the role attribute of the shortcode register user and it works as well, see my screen record https://www.loom.com/share/420691646f9a4d3d8bc76de69fe8879e.

    Could you please deactivate all plugins except Meta Box, MB extensions, clear the cache and check the shortcode again?

    Hi,

    Yes, I believe it is a cache issue. Cleared browser cache, and everything works properly.
