    I have Image Advanced field and when I add the images and then save, they disappear from the post.

    Question: Also, if I get this working and then have "Force Delete" checked, and I delete the post, are the items from the media manager deleted (I want them to be).

    A little more info: I actually have two of these fields. One I am limiting to one image and it saves. The second I am attempting multi and they are not.

    Ok very strange. I deleted the Image Advanced field(s) and then put them back, now they save as expected.

    If I have Force Delete checked, should the images in the Media Manager be deleted if the trash is dumped? They are not being so.

    I guess I have my answer to:

    If I delete an image inside the post, they are removed from the Media Library but simply deleting the post itself does not remove the images.

    Any way to achieve what I want ie: removing the post removes the images as well?

    Hi,

    Meta Box does not support deleting a field value after you delete a post. It is not how WordPress post works. You can refer to this topic to delete a field value with coding.
