Support › MB Custom Table › Unable to access my custom model link listed under my custom menu setting page.
Hi there,
I came across one issue after updating the meta box aio with the latest version.
I am unable to access my custom model link listed under my custom menu setting page.
I have created the demo Pastebin for your reference.
Here is the error screenshot when I click on my custom menu setting page.
Can you please look into it as soon as possible?
Thanks
Hello,
I see that issue on my demo site. I've escalated it to the development team to fix it in the next update.
Thanks.
Okay, thanks, Peter.
Hey Peter,
Hope you're doing well.
Just wanted to follow up about the above issue.
Does the development team get any chance to work on fixing the above issue?
Does the development team have any temporary solution for it?
I have used the model feature so many places unfortunately none of any are working.
Thanks
Hello,
The development team is still working on this issue. You can create the model as the top menu to prevent this issue.
Hey Peter,
Hope you're doing well.
Just wanted to follow up about the above issue again.
Unfortunately, I am not able to apply your solution to use the model as the top menu of the WP backend because there were a lot of complex places I applied the model.
Thanks
Hey Peter,
Is there any update on this?
Thanks
Hello,
Your case is conflicting with this case https://support.metabox.io/topic/bug-incorrect-url-when-setting-parent-menu-of-settings-page-to-custom-model/?swcfpc=1
One is custom model menu is a parent menu
One is custom model menu is a sub/child menu
The development team is working to find a solution to fix both cases.
Hey Peter,
Can I know, if there is any possibility to overcome the issue?
Thanks
Hey Peter,
Is there any update on this?
Now we are facing other issues with the older version of the Metabox AIO.
Thanks
Hello peter,
Is there any update for this issue?
Thanks.
Hello,
Currently, we don't have a proper solution to fix both cases:
- One is custom model menu is a parent menu
- One is custom model menu is a sub/child menu
only the case custom model menu is a parent menu will be supported and the settings page menu should be a submenu. Just want to let you know.
