add new tasonomy

    Hi.

    I want to select multiple taxonomies and also able to add new taxonomies with taxonomy feld like wordpress do. I cant see such a option like this ? can i do that?

    Hi,

    I'm not sure if you want to talk about "terms" or "taxonomies". I think it's "terms". So:

    1. To select multiple terms, just set multiple setting to true for the taxonomy field.
    2. Unfortunately the UI for creating new terms are not available. The field only allows users to select existing ones.

    Hi.

    It will nice to see able to add new terms in taxonomy field in near future..Also this will be usefull for adding tags or custom taxonomy terms with frontend submission extension..

    Hi edmiga,

    After you save the meta box, the data will be stored in database. You can get them on init hook and register new taxonomies.
