Trying to add custom fields via dynamic tags to an elementor generated page.
I can set up templates like archive or single posts for the post type and the custom fields show up. In "regular" pages i can select the custom fields via elementors dynamic tags selector, but nothing is shown in preview or on that saved page on the frontend. What am i doing wrong?
Please push me into the right direction to solve this. Thanks.

    Hi Thomas,

Can you please share some screenshots on your site and the code that creates the custom fields?

    Hi Long Nguyen.
Prepared a video. Hope this helps to make the issue clearer.

Custom Fields work great in Elementor single page and archive templates.
But i cannot get them to show up in a normal WordPress page done via Elementor.

    Hi Thomas,

    Thanks for your additional information.

If you want to show a field value on a page with Elementor, this page has to have a field. For example, the FAQ fields are associated to post type FAQ so you can show these fields on the single post FAQ only. On the single page, it will not show the value, of course.

    I'm still stuck. Sry.
How do i have to set it up to show my custom post type "faqs" on a page?
As far as i remember a construction like that i want to achieve now was not a problem at all using Oxygen builder.

    Hi Thomas,

I see you use the widget Posts of Elementor to show post type FAQ on a page as well. The problem is the page does not have any custom fields so you cannot show the custom field associated with FAQ post type in a page with Elementor.
