    Custom categories cannot be remembered; they have already been selected, but the option to edit is not checked.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    If you register the custom taxonomy with Meta Box, please ensure the option "Show in quick edit" is enabled when editing the taxonomy, screenshot https://ibb.co/sptG9tSg

    Then try to save the post and check the issue again. Let me know how it goes.
