    Using Metabox AIO.
    I have post type with slug /people
    then there is people fieldgroup with data stored in custom data table called people

    I created the fields in the field group in two stages.

    The data in fields created in the second stage keep disappearing. the data in the fields we originally created stay there.

    What is causing this and what is the solution?

    Hello,

    Do you mean the field value when saving the post is not saved? Please check if the setting Save field value is enabled, screenshot https://imgur.com/rdIYYyy

    We have save field already set. What happens is that after a while all of the data for the CPT disappears.Even if we revert to a back up it isn't there.
