Hi there, I currently have a site using metabox and Divi 5 and when adding a new field and filling in the data on the CPT side it's not showing the data on the frontend.
Site background: I originally setup the post types and custom fields when the theme was Divi 4, and I don't remember if I've added any new fields after the update to Divi 5 (updated May 2026), but believe I have added some since and the site has been running without much issue overall. We add new posts often and haven't had any issues when filling in content and having it display correctly at all.
I tried adding a new custom field yesterday to dynamically add an ID attribute to a card, these cards come from a CPT and loop through to display them on the page template. But with the new field it's not working when there content is added to the new field, old fields that are previously in the template are working as expected.
From the template side, it's set up correctly, correct data key set and applied but says "Your Meta Box Field Value Will Display Here" vs the keyed text from the post. I haven't seen this before, it usually pulls the text/copy/content from what is entered into the CPT posts fields.
I've even tried adding a new Divi text module with an older meta key to see if it would pull the data correctly and it's not, it's still displaying "Your Meta Box Field Value Will Display Here"
Static data displays as you would expect, post title, just nothing new MetaBox fields content for newly created fields or added modules with meta keys trying to pull
