Does anyone know if the file upload field works with media cloud? I am interested in having the files uploaded stored off site into a cloud bucket using Media Cloud.
Currently, it is not possible. The field file upload only supports uploading files to your hosting. I will inform the development team to explore the possibility.
Btw, you can use the field file_input to add the URL of the file which can be uploaded from the cloud. Read more on the documentation https://docs.metabox.io/fields/file-input/
