When I create a custom post type using Metabox AIO, and I enable that custom post type to be editable in Bricks Builder settings, when I attempt to edit any given Bricks Builder enabled custom post type with Bricks, the Bricks Builder opens to the Homepage instead of a blank custom post type.

Is it possible to edit custom post type in Bricks Builder? or are custom post types only able to be edited in Gutenberg or the WordPress classic editor?

    Please advise. Thank you.

I actually discovered after playing with the advanced settings for while, that checking this particular advanced setting on the custom post type:

Whether queries can be performed on the frontend.

Made it to where the custom post type becomes editable in the Bricks Builder.

May I please get additional instruction on this setting so that I may understand it further?
Are there any drawbacks to enabling this setting that would affect other parts of the WordPress environment?

Feel free to point me to documentation or video as well that goes into more depth of the use of this setting.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Meta Box support registering custom post types in UI with the standard arguments of WordPress, you can read more here https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/register_post_type/

If you want to use a builder to edit the post of that post type, please contact their support to get further assistance.
