License key saying invalid

    Hi, I can't seem to update the MB Group plugin, it says I need an active license, but I have a license and it says it's active. I have re-entered the license, but it's not made a difference.

    I currently have the same problem. I don't know if this matters or not, but I'm using a lifetime license and run a multi-site.

    It says I have a valid license until I hit "Save" and then on refresh it says "Your license key is invalid. Please update your license key or get a new one here."

    Same issue here with both my live and staging site. Hope I can contribute to a solution.

    It also says under Update: "UPDATE UNAVAILABLE! Please enter a valid license key to enable automatic updates."

    I tried reactivating multiple times, with positive notification at first, but still can't update the plugin.

    Also tried deactivating all plugins, same problem.

    What's the issue here, and what are the exact steps to truly activate the license?

    I've read somewhere that Meta Box checks the license key once per day.

    So if I click activate, do I need to wait one day? Or do I need to take more steps the next day?
    Or should I leave it completely blank and wait for one day, then reenter it and wait for another day? How does it go down? And should I delete the site first from the "active" list within my Meta Box account?

    Same issue here. If I resave licence it says it's invalid. If I re-enter the licence it accepts but still tells me I can't update Meta Box AIO. Clicking on the version link responds with "No plugin found".

    Hi guys,

    Can you please share screenshots about this?

    FYI, we cache requests on a daily basis. So if you enter a license key and click Save, and then re-enter the key again, the result for the 2nd request will be the same as in the 1st one. In this case, you might need to try again in a day.

    I’ll check the server if there’s anything wrong.

    I've just checked and found a problem on our server. I've fixed it. Please try check update in Dashboard > Updates again.

    I've the same problem.
    Checked it this minute.

    Tried following:

    • Remove the website in Backend
    • Clear the License key on the site
    • Save
    • Put in the license key

    • Saved (License is valid)

    --> Same problem

    -Click another time on save license key (license is invalid)

    I've created now in Backend a new license key and used that, now i can update.

    Every time when i click on "save license" the notification shows that the license is invalid.

    Guys, after you enter and save the license key and get the "active" status, please go to Dashboard > Updates and click the "Check again" to force WordPress to check for updates again.

    Clicked checked again. Still says Meta Box AIO is unavailable, and get the error "An error occurred while updating Meta Box AIO: Update package not available." if I try to update.

    Thanks support team! Just activated and updated MB on my staging site 🙂 All notifications are gone now. It also appears in my active sites list (because I've deleted it previously to test things myself). So all okay now!
