    I didn't find anything about this subject in the documentation and forums: is it possible to create metaboxes for navigation menus and navigation menu items?

    Hi Johann,

    WordPress 5.4 introduces the new hook to add custom fields to the menu item, we are discussing and researching for this feature in the future update.

    Keep this plugin up to date and you will have more control over your site.

    Hi there!

    I came across this when researching Nav support with Meta Box. If you bring in a menu component, let's take a Bootstrap 5 Mega Menu as an example, you can use the code to create a static menu. If you want it to integrate with WordPress Nav, you'll need to create a Nav Walker script.

    What I am looking for is creating dynamic menus directly with Meta Box. That way, I could bring in the HTML for the Mega Menu. In other words, a CMT (Custom Menu Type).

    Is there a tested and confirmed support for this workflow?

    I'm surprised this feature isn't available. ACF has had this for over 7 years.
