    Hi MetaBox Team,

    We’ve noticed an issue with the Post field type regarding the Placeholder option.

    The placeholder is only displayed when “Allow to select multiple items” is disabled. As soon as “Allow to select multiple items” is enabled, the placeholder no longer appears.

    Is this the intended behavior, or is this a bug?

    I’ve also created a screen recording to clearly demonstrate where and how the issue occurs. I’ve attached it to this ticket for reference.

    Hello Simon,

    Thank you for your feedback.

    I can see the issue on my demo site. The placeholder will display when you select an item and remove it from the field. I've escalated the issue to the development team to fix in the next of Meta Box plugin.
