    Is there a way to restrict the mime type for any upload field, including auto filtering of mime type in the media library on popup?

    For example, I would like to use the single_image field, and only allow PNGs in this field.

    Hi Austin,

    You can use the filter upload_mimes to restrict file type when uploading to the media library.

    But use this filter for a specific field, is not possible.
