I am using shortcodes within the editor text like this: [rwmb_meta id="service_text"] in [rwmb_meta id="location_text"]. Service name in location for example Web design in London.

Is it possible to get RankMath to read the values for service_text and location_text so it can score the pages correctly?

I have added the MB RankMath extensio and it can read and score the RM meta titles and meta descriptions correctly. Wondering if the same can be done for shortcodes I have added throughout the page text?

    Hello Murray,

    Thanks for reaching out.

When creating the custom field, you can add the custom setting rank_math_analysis to the field settings. So RankMath can read the values from service_text and location_text as content. Screenshot https://imgur.com/TDGb8C9

    Following the documentation https://docs.metabox.io/extensions/mb-rank-math/

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for you reply. I have added the MB RankMath plugin and the key and value to the fields. This works fine for the meta title and description.

What I am doing is adding shortcodes into the default text editor which are inserting the location and service from the MB custom fields. At the moment RankMath cannot analise these. Is there a way to get RankMath to analise them? I am also using the DIVI page builder to throw that into the mix.

Here is a screenshot showing where I have added the shortcodes: https://indigomarmoset.agency/dev/mbtest/mb.png

    Thanks,

    Murray

    Hello,

Thanks for the details. I understand the case. However, it isn't possible to extract the content from the shortcode for the RankMath plugin to read it. It can work with literal words only.
