    Hi,

I'm using the User Role Editor plugin to control that contents is only shown to authorized people.
This is possible with the shortcode [user_role_editor except_users="0"]...[/user_role_editor].
Everything within the shortcode is to be only visible to logged in users.
Works perfectly, except for your Views. It gets completely ignored.
    See here: https://www.imgbly.com/ib/8Vkdg21i9m
I removed all information as it contains personal data.

Any advise how the Views can adhere to this shortcode as well?

Fyi: this is with the free version of User Role Editor plugin.

    Hello Eddy,

It's not an issue of Meta Box itself so please contact User Role Editor support to get further assistance. Please read more about support policy https://docs.metabox.io/support-policy/

    Thank you.

Hello support, is there a way to only show specific fields to users with a specific user role? Or are external plugins like the one EddyPiV is using required for this? Thank you.

    Hello BB,

You can use the plugin MB Include Exclude to show a field group (not a specific field) for a user role. In the builder, please use the option Advanced Location Rules: https://imgur.com/roNigk0

    Following the documentation https://docs.metabox.io/extensions/meta-box-include-exclude/
