Why does the Metabox WP Admin Menu Item show up for users without permissions? - Meta Box

Why does the Metabox WP Admin Menu Item show up for users without permissions?
e.g. editors and contributors. The Metabox menu shows up but when they click on a menu item, e.g. Relationships, they get an error "Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.".

The Metabox menu item should be hidden for people that aren't administrators.

I've escalated this to the development team to fix it in future updates.
