It looks like I'm facing a serious problem.
I have a cpt Fan that runs in 504 Gateway time out with every update action.
Reading goes well, but update, add, delete, it all ends up in a 504 message.
As deleting doesn't work, I have tried to create another cpt and build it all up again.
For that I need to export the data. I'm using the WP All Export plugin for that.
But it looks like I cannot export the field of the relationship with another cpt (Country) and also Contact details - in a group in a separate Custom Field group - I can't get exported.
- What's the best way to handle this 504 situation? Is there another / better way than building it all up again?
- How can I export the relationship-from field? How the grouped contact details in a separate custom field group?
1. You can enable WP debug and check the log if there is an error when updating a CPT post. Besides that, you can also deactivate all plugins and leave only Meta Box, MB plugins activated and switch to a default theme of WordPress and check this issue again.
2. The relationship data is stored in a custom table wp_mb_relationships. You can contact the export plugin support if they can export data from the custom table.
Peter, it happens only with 1 specific cpt, all other post types are working properly.
But you're actually right, it's caused by another plugin. Deactivating it solved it.
I'll contact them to act on the errors in the debug.log.
