    An author can upload images through lots of MetaBox field types, just for Single Image it says "Sorry, you are not allowed to attach files to this post."
    Can you pls check?

    Hello Eddy,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The message says that the current user is not allowed to upload files, that means it is a permission issue. You can try to deactivate all plugins except Meta Box, switch to a WordPress theme and see if it helps.
    Another thing, you can check if there is a constant ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS in the file wp-config.php, set it to true and upload images again.
